First modern 4runner

I just traded in an '08 Chevy Colorado for a '97 Limited with only 73k miles. It is a shame a 14 yr old japanese vehicle is better than a 3 yr old American one. I previously had an '86 4runner with 400k on it. I plan on keeping this one mostly stock for now. It will be used to transport my two dogs, some light towing and be my winter vehicle. I'm looking forward to being a part of this group.

Welcome to the forums. You've got really low miles for a 97! I have a 97 with over 200K, but she still drives smooth and strong. I hope you have a lot of will power if you plan on keeping it stock, there are so many cool runners here and the mod bug will bite hard.
