Tires are Nankook ATm 255/75/17s, but the left one rubbed before UCAs so i trimmed the mudflap and no more rub..right? Then i install UCAs, have the front end alignment done resulting in 4 degrees of caster, cambers in spec..and now the left tire rubs the mudflap..

I have no idea whats going on...Anyone?

What size tires? I removed my mudflaps a long time ago. 4 degrees camber seems high, I'm right around 2.8 and pretty happy. I'd think you would be rubbing the bumper that far forward. I know I was and I trimmed both sides to get rid of it at 2.8

The UCA's must have changed the geometry to cause the rubbing again, unclear exactly how without knowing the position of the upper ball joint, how much adjustment was done with the UCA vs. the LCA eccentric bolts, etc.

I rubbed on my front mudflaps after I installed lift/tires and wheel spacers. Even with high (~3.5-4*) caster, which pulls the wheel forward in the wheel well, I had issues so I removed the mud flaps completely. After I installed the FJ wheels, which pushed the wheel out further, I had issues rubbing on the body mount. I had caster adjusted up to like 5.5* degrees and that has helped. I did rub some on the front fender liners, so I had to move those forward as well, but haven't needed to trim the bumper itself yet.

I think what bothers me the most is

that before the UCAs it was the left side that rubbed and after the UCAs now its the right.

Maybe before the UCA's your alignment wasn't perfect? Tough to tell without pre-UCA alignment numbers and all of the post-UCA alignment numbers, and knowing how the LR/SPC UCA's are currently set up. They allow for a pretty wide range of adjustment.

I was a little bothered by having to remove the front mud flaps at first too. But as long as your alignment numbers are good now, and you're not rubbing on the body mount, I wouldn't be overly concerned with it. Remove mudflaps/move fender liner/trim bumper if needed, comes with the territory of running larger-than-stock tires.
