I just bought a 2018 SR5 4x4 and I want to do a modest suspension lift for extra clearance. I like the way the 4runner feels and handles so I’m not looking to do anything exreme with it. My family tent camps a lot but we’d like to get to some more remote camping locations and have a little fun exploring trails. We won’t be trying to do difficult rock crawling and this will also be a daily driver. I’ve read a lot of information on the forum and I think the Bilstein 5100 seems like a good place to start. I wanted to do a 3/2 lift but it seems like this one can only go up 2.75 in the front. So it won’t be exactly level but that’s pretty close. I will be getting bigger tires; either 275 or 285’s. I’m not sure that I want to trim any body moldings just yet. Anyone think this kit is a bad way to go? And would I need any other parts not included in this kit? I found this kit on amazon.
