javascript:smilie(':biggrin2:') I took my (new to me) 4wd 4runner out in the arizona desert, West of PHX (White tank area), and had some fun yesterday. here are some pics from my short trip. Later as the day went on i got a little brave and drove up a very steep and winding quad pass, about 40 feet high, Once at the top i panicked and wasnt sure i would get it down!!!, but after some looking and determination i got it down in 1 piece!! at the bottom there about 10 guys on quads and dirtbikes looking at me like i was crazy! This particular trail was not for trucks!! AND i was scared and very uncomfortable!! Thought i was gunna roll sideways down a 40 ft drop. Next week im gunna do it again and get some pics and vids!! Heres some pics

The more you do this the more confident you will become. Just watch the running boards in the rocks, they bend easy. A small lift and better tires will be a big help if you get into the harder trails.

Where do i get those style of wheels, i dont like my stock 5 spoke ones. But it looks like you had fun. I took mine out to Table Mesa Trail north of cave creek off the i-17. I hung with all the 4x4's. You shoudl check that one out as well.

Yeah I will def head up there, send me a pm of when you might roll out there again! Those are the stock 18" rims that come with the Limited. I might get black steel rims or powder coated Black FJ rims that i wont mind messing up... but im def doing a 3" lift with tires soon...

GLAD YOU HAD FUN OUT THERE!!!
It's always good to see a bone stock vehicle on the trails :)

That is because it's a limited. The ltds have 18" 6 spoke wheels. The only problem is they are 7.5" wide. 18" x 7.5" doesn't give you a lot of tire options.
