doing the body mount chop next weekend and the trimming when I get them. Although it may not matter since I'm getting a new bumper in a month or two.

I have 285/70-17 Duratracs and had to trim a lot of plastic but not the body mount. No rubbing at full lock now! Although, when I go offroad this summer I'm going to do the body mount chop just in case as I can see the wheels possibly rubbing when flexed.

Good to see more Washingtonians here. I'm up in Bellingham.

Yeah for sure man. Im in lake Stevens and Kevin is south a little ways. What about you?

I'm in Newcastle. PM me next time you guys go out.

I'm running 285/70/17's and had to do a lot of cutting however I haven't needed the body mount chop yet. I can see how some flex may require it though.

Right on guys. Ive only had my 4runner for like 5 months so Darkie is the only other offroader I've met here so far. Always down meet new guys with 4runners!

Great choice on the Duratracs. What bumper are you planning on getting? I also would be interested in joining some time. I am in Mill Creek - south of Everett.

Right on, sounds good man. I'm getting a shrockworks bumper. Perkins roof rack and demello or perkins sliders.

I think the OP said "First time" and "nothin' too serious" Most folks don't start out rock crawlin' on their first time out...
