I was driving with a few friends about 2 days when it was raining in Morgan Hill, In the mountains, the sides of the road are just mini mud pits and some are sometimes large anough to drive through. I was driving, then all of a sudden we see a large area with puddles and hills. So I decided to try traversing my way through, not until I got to the center I got stuck in 2WD, I put it in 4WD, easily going through the mud. We then see a ditch, so I try to go in and over it first in 2WD, got stuck immediately when one rear tire was in the air, so put it in 4WD then starting going down, then up a small hill which put 2 tires off the ground, in 4WD, the left front and right rear were just spinning, I was stuck in 4WD, no matter what I tried, reversing and going forward, I was just sitting there spinning dirt in all directiongs. I was in a "cross-axle" situation. Luckily I had the rear lockers (disabled the first safety to use in any drive mode), pushed the RR DIFF LOCK button, waitied for it to engage, and in no time my 4R made it under and over the ditch with that one wheel that had traction. It was a weird feeling as if I was in my friends Suburban (sucks going off-road with a long @$$ wheelbase getting stuck everywhere), we would have been stuck for sure. The rear lockers saved me embarassment and towing.
