First Time Wheeling Adventure

Well thanks to DirtDawg we met up and I took the new 4Runner on it's first wheeling adventure today. Ended up having a lot of fun and learned a lot about the car. Let's just say I was blown away by the capabilities of this thing in completely stock form.

Only bad part is all the hours I spent the last few days cleaning it up went completely out the window in all of about 30 seconds. :ybrick:

Anyways, here are some pics from today's adventure

So much for the clean car. I popped the hood when I got home and couldn't help but laugh after I spent Sunday afternoon cleaning and degreasing it. Now it's completely RED.

Way to get it off the pavement and into the dirt where it belongs! You'll always have a 4runner from now on...once you get it offroad you'll never want a different car.

Nice alexb! I have to ask, what kind of products do you use to shine the paint? Your paint looks better than new.

All i've done so far is wash it since I bought it last week. The previous owner took really good care of it though. I plan on doing a full polish and detail on it this spring. There are a bunch of swirl marks and stuff if you look at it up close or in direct sunlight. But other than that it still looks great.

Dang, didn't even see this thread before. That was a good day. Lots of fun.

I'm confused

I thought DirtDawg had a silver runner
I totaled that one. I have the green lifted one now. I need to make a build thread, just haven't had the time.

Kind of off topic, but what do you think of the yokahama a/t's that you have alex? i was lookingg at buying me a set soon. i have the h/t version.

They are the tires that came on the vehicle when I bought it so I don't have much to compare them to, but I'd say they seem pretty good. The ride on the street is smooth and fairly quite, and off road they have handled pretty well for a/t's. Again I don't have much to compare them against though.
