in a long time (over 20 years.)
So, it's a bright clear MI morning and I'm eastbound on M59 (Hall Rd.) making a run for the border. The road changes from freeway to stop&go lights coming into Utica. The speed limit decreases but I'm late kicking off the cruise. It's an empty road so I don't bother to hit the brakes to slow, just let the T4R slow down au natural. Well, Big Blue comes off the shoulder from behind an abutment and takes polite offense to my driving style. He's big and gun toting and I think, here we go, Bubba the Sheriff "I've got me one of them live, liberal, dope smoking, anti-missle Canadians and I'm going to have some fun." (j/k) In fact, he's friendly and wishes me a safe, slower journey to the border after he hands me a citation for 65 in a 55. So, what is that worth because they tell you to phone the local court to find out (I wasn't going to ask him if he wasn't volunteering)? Better yet, what would 71 in a 55 have cost me if he hadn't knocked it down?

Yup a great place indeed. I love the European-like atmosphere. The exchange rate makes it a logical choice, for us. Vermont is only 3-4 hours closer, but when it
