Dog is all good, I've just never seen him high before so I had no idea what was wrong at the time. I'm trying to figure out why someone dumped their weed up there, seems impractical! Next time I'm camping in a spot further off the beaten path.
Nothing crazy. We didn't know what was wrong with him, but the vet probably sees it all the time, so they asked if he could have gotten into someones stash. I don't smoke so we didn't have any, but I figured it was possible. So they drug tested him, then when it was positive for THC they induced vomiting, gave him some activated charcoal and gave him an IV overnight.
If it happens again somehow I'll just take him home and let him sleep, he would have been alright, but better safe than sorry.

I wish I knew more, but when we camp I just let the dog run wild basically and call him back every 15 minutes if he hasn't made an appearance. So he was unsupervised and he has a tendency to eat things (he ate a rock last spring that we had to get surgically removed). I'm guessing it was an edible because I don't know why he would have eaten the plant. He is all good, vet bill hurt my wallet though. Damn animals.

More exploring pictures. I need to put my rear mud flaps back on if I want to keep the bedliner on the rear bumper looking okay. I already blasted a bunch of it off mobbing down some muddy dirty roads…

Sucks to hear about the dog! I only let mine in on an occasional lap of beer. What size Yeti did you get? I just picked up a 105, yours looks 105ish. How do you like it? I literally bought mine and took it straight out camping so I didn't chill it beforehand. Still held ice throughout the weekend.

The dog loves to get into things that he isn't supposed to, he is an idiot but I love him. My Yeti is only a 50, 105 is a beast! I like mine a lot, holds ice really well. I also have a Yeti (65 or 75, can't remember) in my raft and it holds ice through hot summer floats on the river, and takes some abuse. Awesome coolers.

Thanks! That's actually a cutthroat trout, I'm not sure what variety but I assume they are Colorado River Cutthroat up there (as opposed to greenback cutthroat or yellowstone cutthroat etc.).

CB Antenna
Anyone run their CB antenna on their front bumper? Or on a CBI ditch light bracket? I'd like to hear some opinions/experiences from people who run a forward-mounted antenna.
I have my antenna mounted on an ODL hatch mount right now, and I've been having issues transmitting, so while I trouble shoot I have been thinking about moving the antenna to the front bumper.

Nice build! I just read through the whole thing. I love all the pics of you out wheelin' in the beautiful countryside. I can't believe they gave you the wheels for free! Even though they aren't your or my favorites free wheels are always good haha. At least you can sell them when you swap over to a different set of wheels.

Thanks man. I've been lucky to stick around CO for so long, if I ever have to leave it will be a bummer.
Free wheels are always good, at this point I wish that I would have swapped studs and kept the LC wheels, but at the time it was the right decision to just sell them. They will be good for a couple hundred bucks when I get my hands on some SCS wheels or something.

New Forum Handle and Moab Prep
First things first, got a new forum handle to match the instagram (previously FR4R on here). :yo:
Second, In prep for another Moab trip the truck needed a few things over the last couple weeks:
- New windshield
- New driver's side heated mirror glass
- CVJ CV shafts were swapped for OEM CVs with fresh boots. Both of my CVJ re-mans completely blew the outer boots where the boot slides over the joint. Inners were also torn. Replaced LBJ bolts while I was in there.
- Fixed my clock thanks to this thread by [MENTION=24236]CO_FlyFisher[/MENTION] - http://www.toyota-4runner.org/3rd-gen-t4rs/67508-3rd-gen-dash-clock-fix.html. My springs were okay, one of the 270 resistors was cracked at the solder points, so I re-did the solder on the big resistors and soldered the pins to the board since I had it apart. It's been like 2 years since the clock worked so that will be nice.
- Ran new coax for my CB. The first time I did it I ran the coax out the side vent at the rear of the truck. This time I went in through the tail light grommet and did a cleaner job of tucking the wire.
Shit left to do:
- Figure out why my CB radio SWR is 3+ on all channels, I've done some troubleshooting and I think the issue may be the radio itself. I need to do more investigating but the mount is grounded, stud is installed correctly, coax is new, and swapping antennas didn't change the SWR at all. This one is starting to irritate me. When the SWR is this high, something is usually installed wrong, but that doesn't seem to be the case so far.
- Drill and tap the bolt on the bottom side of the front driver side fender, I sheared the bolt a few weeks back and now the fender wiggles at highway speeds and creates a really irritating scratching sound.
- Reboot CV for spare
- Grease driveshafts, check fluids
- Wash truck
- Buy lots of beer
And since that was way too much text, here is a photo from Moab last year when I couldn't get up this ledge:

Moab Round 3 - Metal Masher, Kane Creek, Sevenmile Rim
Hopefully everyone has seen the thread for the full Moab update (again link is here - http://www.toyota-4runner.org/off-roading/191995-spring-break-2015-moab.html).
Just wanted to post a couple more photos of my truck, and a couple other group shots. There shouldn't be many duplicates from the full Moab thread.
We ran Metal Masher, Kane Creek and Sevenmile Rim, none of which I had ran before this trip so I was excited.
Trail Damage was limited to scrapes on my hitch, rear lower control arm skids and front bumper. I think I tagged the gas tank too, but not very hard (stock skid on there). And the paint was murdered by Kane Creek but white makes it hard to see the scratches. Happy that I didn't hit anything important.
Also proposed to my girlfriend on the Metal Masher overlook, so that was cool. On to the photos...

Overall I was happy with how the truck performed, it is plenty capable for what I want it to do in it's current form. More armor and whatnot is still on the list, but taking obstacles slowly limits the need for it in my experience. Although I do want spindle gussets after my brother bent his steering knuckle on Wipeout Hill.

In other news my parking lights/tail lights are always on when the truck is on after I was in the firewall area installing my new CB. I didn't do any new wiring, just replaced the CB (old one was fried from high SWR I think).
Hopefully it's something easy, but I haven't done any trouble-shooting yet. I suppose it could also be some new gremlins from when I ****ed up my gauge cluster (blew the trace for the headlight circuit) wiring my OTRATTW switches like a year ago :dammit:
