Problem fixed thanks to this forum and rigtec, MeefZah and FrenchToasty
They all suggested checking the plug at the switch in the center. I did not want to, I wanted to know where the panels were to remove the airbags. Looked around could not find anything.
I finally pulled the center plastic panel as suggested and found the connector was unplugged. -- Thanks for the quick help.
