Hey guys,

Loooooong time reader, first time poster.

Yes, I've done tons of research using the mighty search feature but couldn't quite find the specific thread for my vehicle.

I have a 2004 Sport 2WD all blacked out. I want to grab the FJ Cruiser alloys and powdercoat them black. I found (what I think is) a killer deal on 5 FJ Cruiser Alloys + 5 Dunlop AT20 Grandtrek 265/70/17's with 90% tread left for $500.

I'm going to pick them up tomorrow. Please help me first!

Few questions:

• Will the OEM 17" FJ Cruiser Alloys fit on my 4runner?
• I currently have 265/65/17's. Will the 265/70/17 fit without rubbing? (I have a 2" block lift)

That's what I was thinking.

I will have these tires because he doesn't want to part out just the wheels. For $500, you think the 5 wheels and the tires with 90% tread left is a good deal?

I can always sell the tires back and make the wheels even cheaper.

What tires would you recommend? I would like to go bigger, more rugged, fill up the wheel well.

500 seems too high, even if u manage to sell the dunlops. there are some people that will buy them but i had only 6800 on mine & found them hard to get rid of. i think u can find a better buy on just the wheels if u do more searching, ive seen them go for around 300, but hey, u could always just run the hell out of the dunlops till ya need new tires. as far as what brand of tires go, it depends on how & where u go & what u like in looks,(agressive or not, mostly highway, AT or all season, how much $ u have to spend, etc.) take a look in the gallery section, & see if theres a tire that appeals to u.
