Ok another question t man Where did you get your 2.5 in body lift and what all did you need to do to install that?

Brake lines?
Bumpers?
Steering?

Just wanting to know everything before i order

If you ask 4crawler for extended size pricing the will make any size up to 3". If you go 2" or above get the big sized spacers and heavy duty hardware.
I didn't have to modify anything, was really easy except that stupid steering spacer! Bumpers, front you take the cover off, then unbolt the frame support and move it up a hole, I moved it up 2 for my 2.5", and put it back together. Rear bumper I trimmed the bottom that hangs over the steel inner frame so it pulled up over it. Exposes it a little but I just keep it painted black and the hitch helps hide it well.

I know this is an old thread! And I’m terribly sorry about posting in it! But there seems to be a ton of knowledge on this subject in here. So first let me get started by saying I bought my first 4R last week, an 2003 Limted 4wd v6 with only 150k on the clock, it came with what appears to the the Rough Country 3 inch leveling spacer and the 2 inch rear lift spacers with some RC shocks for the rear installed. With all that being said, I’m planning a FJ 6inch RC lift, 1.5 inch body, and 35x12.50’s other than that im mostly stuck. I would have started a separate build thread but I don’t have the required number on interactions on here, so if you guys provide any tips or tricks, or ideas? I would be so grateful, I’ve read through this whole thread twice and screenshotted most of the stuff about the wheels/spacers. Thanks in advance

Removal Intel Help

The rough country is a bolt in kit, the pro comp and fab tech I think require some modding. There's a guy on here with the pro comp he would know better. The X-reas will need to be removed which is pretty simple. My best advice is get a set of fj springs and struts for the front and the truck will sit close to level, this will help with clearance for the tires. You'll fit 35's depending how far your wheels stick out. The further your wheel and tire combo stick out the more clearance issue you will have. If you choose to run the stock 4Runner springs you'll end up with a ground sniffer so you really should get yourself a set of fj springs and struts. My last bit of advice is the rough country rear shocks that come with the kit pretty much suck so be ready to upgrade those.

I bought my 4Runner with the 6” Rough Country installed. 5 CV Axles and 3 drive shafts later, along with a stripped out lifted knuckle…i am removing. Going with less lift.

Pretty much got the main pieces to replace. But what hardware and where to acquire for the bolts? Figured on the front cam bolts, but what about the rear cross memeber piece and its hardware?
