FJ Cruiser Rims..

I have 285/70/17 with mine and it only rubs at full steering wheel lock on the UCA. No spacers at all either. That said, it's very close. I can't put my finger between the tire and UCA, but you should have 5mm more clearance so should be good!

Sweet, thank for the reply. I'm waiting to hear back from the guy. Worst that can happen is I need a small spacer and have to wait a few days for it ship.

2Wd or 4wd

I have the 2007 17" FJ rims on my 1997 4runner w/265/70, you do not need spacers. They fit perfectly and look great.

hi i recently bought the 2014 fj cruiser rims i want to put them on my 2000 4runner but im wondering if the tire 265/70R17 will fit on my 2WD SR5 4runner can you confirm that they can be put on?

This was all posted like 6 or 7 years ago, but yes you should be ok with those tires. 285s will rub, the 265 will be very close and may rub at full droop on the upper control arm.

i know since i recently got the truck and no improvements have been done to it so i want to do some upgrades does changing the aspect ratio do any help for example changing it to 60 intead of 70 want to

Probably not much, it's more of the width and the crappy offset of the later wheels.
