OK so after looking around here for I while I think I decided on upgrading to the FJ TRD Shocks but I was wondering do the FJ have diffrent springs between the TT model and the regular FJ? If so what diffrences should I be looking at? Thanks for the help

Ok so I went on the FJ forum and found out that all models have the same springs. But if I am going to be switching over to the TRD shocks should I switch to the FJ springs also?

the fj springs will raise ur front about an 3/4-1 in., the rear about 0-1/2, not real noticable but combined together will give u much better ride & handling. imo, u wont notice that much difference using just the shocks. i dont believe in mix n match, they're meant to work together. do id say do both.

:iagree: x2

I did use the springs with stock shocks. I got lucky and it seems to work very well but Chaz's advice is very sound.

Unless your stock shocks are shot I can't imagine gaining much from just the shocks...

Ok so I have a set of the rear shox line up for $100 now I just need to find a good price on the fronts and the springs.
