FJ Shift Knob Retrofit

I did one a few days ago for the 5th gen guys, and I wanted to show love to the 4th gen guys. It's a time consuming mod, but it really does look good IMO. However the 4th gen OEM knob does not look as massive as the 5th gen one to start with.

I sell them, but you cannot make it lower on the shaft or you cannot put it into the 2 or the 3 position.

Perhaps [MENTION=98618]brandoc0mmand0[/MENTION] can take a pic of it in the furthest back position so you can see what I'm talking about. The shifter nearly touches as it is.

That makes a lot of sense. Didn't think about making it fully through the shifter gate.

The shifter is fine through all gears except the 2 & L.



The bottom touches the bottom trim piece. I'll try and snap a picture tomorrow.
