FJ stock control arms more camber?

I remember reading in one thread that stock FJ control arms are a direct replacement for 4th gen control arms and give a little more camber adjustment to compensate for a higher 4runner lift? Has anyone tried this, seems like a great deal since numerous FJ users get rid of there stock control arms.

Someone has to have given this a try?

I dont think camber has been the limiting issue with aligning a lifted vehicle. I think you are thinking of caster and I have no idea whether or not FJ control arms have more built in. It is unlikely as most sources agree that the FJ, Tacoma, and 4runner all share the same suspension parts.

Well they obviously don't share ALL the same components since FJ cruiser springs are known to be taller than 4runners

I wanna say that aside from the shocks and springs, the front suspension is pretty much the same, I could be wrong though. I'll see if I can find any information about this later.

Just did a quick check on part numbers, The FJ & 4Runner share the same upper control arms, the Tacoma seems to have a different part number, but I am unable to really tell an actual difference...

According to toyotapartszone.com (however reliable it is), the R/H Upper Arm Assy PN 48610-60050 is the same for a 4runner and FJ cruiser. No mention of the Tacoma but then again I don't how reliable the info on that website it.

LoL. I got my parts listing from Toyota Wholesale Parts - Authentic OEM Toyota Parts direct from Village Toyota Parts | Village Toyota Parts (they've been pretty much spot on with my parts counter's Toyota Parts Fiche) and then double checked it on TIS. Again, not sure what the difference between the 6 Lug Tacomas is...
