Fj. Vs 4gen?

I am thinking about trading my 4th gen sr5 for a fj. I don't know a lot about the fj I don't really need the big 4runner I just see the fj as a little smaller version? What's the real difference?

If you want to "downsize", the fj is perfect. I like the rear locker option!

the smaller cargo area and suicide rear doors and glass that roll down kill it for me. even extended cab pick up trucks these days have bigger back seats and windows that roll down.

I currently have an 04 4Runner SE V8 4WD purchased new. Just traded my 2011 FJ cruiser for a 2012 Tundra CM. Debated on trading the 4Runner and keeping the FJ but thought the 4Runner an all-around better vehicle on road and 95% off road. Compared to the 4Runner the FJ seats, inside storage and outward visability sucks. The 4Runner has steel skid plates vs the FJ plastic fuel tank plate. Throw a set of Bilstein 5100's, remove the running boards and the only thing missing is the rear locker which the 4Runner's standard A-Trac should cover.
