Quick FYI: to run 199mm S13WE calipers with washer-type LC/LX450 wheels, you need at least 1/4" spacers on the front.
I took a bent LC wheel and sawzall'ed the hoop off the spokes/hub, so clearance issues are easy to see. The wheel spokes have about 1/8" of interference with the lower caliper pots, and this isn't an area where it's safe to grind down the caliper. Not a good area to grind down the back of the spokes either, which I've seen done on one of the forums.
Wasn't able to find any commercial spacers in this thickness with the correct bolt pattern, so I made my own using 1/4 aluminum plate. Minimizing the spacer thickness minimizes wheel scrub and strain on the steering components, and retains as much pinch weld clearance as possible when stuffed and turning. Also, 1/4" is thin enough that longer hub studs aren't required. (A good rule of thumb for steel hardware is a minimum thread engagement of 1.5x stud diameter.)
