I believe these wheels came with different kinds of lugnuts... what kind do we need for our 3rd gens if we are going to run them? Also, can you please post pictures of your rig with fj80 wheels? I know people are using them, but i cant find alot of pictures.

Darn, i found the thread explaining the lugnuts right after posting this, but i would still love to see pics of 3rd gens with these wheels.

I used the Land Cruiser lug nuts on mine...

I also will be selling mine soon (within the next 1-2 weeks) because I am replacing with another set of 80 series rims. I am addicted to these rims not only because of looks but because of their quality. You cannot get a beefier rim IMO. These things are meant to get wheeled and still look good doing it.

Forged.. perfect backspacing for 285s.. Can't think of a better wheel for our rigs (and they look sexy)

What do you think a fair price is for 4 rims guys? I would rate mine a 8/10 at the lowest. The only issue is that I painted them because of chipping clear coat.

I got my set for $250 in decent condition. just painted mine. but not realizing the different lugs. I got LUCKY so when I got the rims I just used what was already on my rig. The shank style (not acorn style) althought I only got 4. so my spare is the acorn style. so I just carry 3 extra lugs in the glove box.

I got mine off of the Classified section on IH8MUD. there is a set are a few sets on there now in various conditions.

will both the shank and acorn style lug nut wheels fit our vehicles as long as we get the right lug nuts?

Mine didn't clear the 199's, but it only took a few miles to fix that. I since put 1/4" spacers on the front so I can rotate the ties with no issue and its fine now.

what spacers did you use? will 1/4" spacers clear the 231's?

the 1/4" DEF clear the 231s. that's what I have on mine with the 3-spoke 16's.
i want to not have to use the spacer bc I believe it has caused some wobble. I cant imagine that the spacer weighs enough to cause a wobble, but after my swap to Tundra 231s it appeared. what else could have caused it? i can't think of anything.
ideas?

Yeah the wheel spacers cause that wobble. Either they aren't precisely machined, or don't have a very equal weight distribution while in rotation. I have noticed wobble even with wheel adapters.
