I like em. Makes me want to find a set, powder coat em silver and run them with 1.25" spacers. Did you move bore your tmps sensors? Can you post a pic from the back or front to see how far in/out they are with the wheel wells?

No spacers but I do rub on my stock UCA's at full turn.

I am thinking I will go steelies with pizza cutter tires. 255/80/17 tires so it shouldn't be an issue.

CXS- thankyou. I can't remember, did you do a body chop or any other mods to get those tires to fit? Any rubbing? Do you think the 255-80-17 would crear without issue?

No body chop but wheelwell plastic needed trimming as always, I rub a bit at full turn but not enough to bother me. I have no idea if that size will work and prefer not to speculate and have you count on what I guess.

Hey Chris were those fairly easy to balance ? As in not to much weight ?

No problems at all Mike. The guy balancing asked if I was okay with weights outside (visible) or only inside which he says a lot of people request. I said I wanted them balanced the right way and he had it done in short order. I'd have to look to see how much was added to be any more specific.

Well I bit the builitt and picked up a set of these with 255/75/17 MTRs will post pics after the new year. Need to get proper lug nuts now...

As I was reading this thread I was thinking about that white over white look, but then I saw your large pic a few minutes ago and I was instantly transformed. That is a super clean look and you pulled it off quite nicely.

I also went with some steelies on my 2007 Sport, but I chose the Pro Comp Xtreme Series 52 in a 16" x 8". They are currently black, but they're soon going to the powder coater to have them re-finished in a deep bronz.

Again, great looking 4Runner! You made a believer out of me. :nod:

Surprisingly I actually like it... It looks like an overseas 4x4, or maybe just an old toyota truck, for some reason.

I see you got rid of the rat rod mirrors. Not enough coverage?

They're back! I've decided to go with a camera for rear viewing when hauling my trailer. I get plenty of coverage as they're 4" convex mirrors, no blind spots anywhere.

I know everyone will ditch their stock mirrors in favor of these or 5th gen, or whatever fancy stuff is out there. :lol:

Seriously I hate the huge mirrors and how they block visibility. Even more my wife loves these (it was her idea) since she's all of 5' tall and sitting the stock ones block a lot more visibility for her.

Now I know you all want to see them so here you go.
