Kind of new to the area, no contacts. One tire shop is quoting $12.75 for a tire repair. Sound about right? He is one of the places I was going to check on Destination A/Ts.

Ok so your response doesn't really answer the main question but assuming it is a nail or screw in far enough away from the sidewall and they are going to plug it, then yes that is a reasonable price.
Yes, messed up a bit. 21K mileage on original Dunlops. Probably a screw or something in the tread. Found the leak. Fun chaging a flat when you are close to 60 years. Hope to get some Destination A/Ts on there soon. out of work does not help.
if you're a bit handy you can get a tire repair kit for like five dollars and plug it yourself if it's in the tread and not on the side. I've had pretty good results with them.
I was doing a serach on compressors, when my brower reset. It was not the MV-50, something a little cheaper. I do not air down or need it for other than occasional use. Anything under $50 or so??
Finally found another station with air lines. 39 outside, fun to work on the truck. Plug is still holding and that $50 price looks like the best deal so far on the $90. MV-50(popular choice on this forum). fun times ahead.
