Long time surfer of this site...but finally registered and ready to seriously consider some of the mod's I have been reading about. First is adding some aux lights to the front of my '08 Sport V8. I want to get a pair of PIAA 520 ATP lights...and mount them with the floating mounts under the bumber (through plastic grill under the bumber) talked about in several threads. I'd like to do them above the bumber...but does look like there is a solid mounting area close by without cutting plastic away.
Anyways there looks to be a nice solid beam for the below bumper mount...and there seems to be already some factory placed holes in this beam. I was wondering if anyone thinbgs a couple self tapping steel bolts will secure this bracket / light assembly.
