I have the red harbor freight 3 ton low profile jack. They're discontinuing the gray ones so if you can find one, they're cheaper. I'll link some coupons below, be sure to check that site for good coupons there. Definitely don't need the low profile for the 4runner, can save yourself $10 and get the regular one.

I got an Arcan XL3000 from Costco. 3 ton and works just fine. I’ve seen it as cheap as $90.

I have a 30+ year old Sears Craftsman Professional 3 1/2-ton floor jack that I still use. Similar to the one in this video
Years ago Craftsman (and Sears) sold out and started producing crap, but my 30+ year old 'Professional' designation hand tools (wrenches, screw drivers, sockets, ratchets, et.al.), air tools, bottle jacks, and floor jacks are still going strong - never could afford the professional grade stuff like Snap-On back then.

not quite a floor jack but ......
This is only possible using 4 wheel drive low.
I hope this isn't to far off topic. I have a bad spine and jacking my t4r up is pretty much undoable. however, these give me the capability of doing some maintenance and keeping repair bills down. Lying on my back and doing work is much easier for me. They also allow me to get a little higher in the engine compartment when doing maintenance, I do this by turning one upside down on the other.
They add an additional 4 1/2 inches so my belly will fit and it doesnt seem like a struggle under the vehicle.
I use the rope to drag them so I don't have to carry them.
And no, I am not afraid of them they are very sturdy (please use in gear only with emergency brake on) . And don't forget to move them before backing up to far.
They are glued and screwed.

Thanks, cost is about 25 bucks and home depot did the cutting for free (except the angle cut). Obviously you cant do any work with wheels but very easy for everything else as long as people use emergency brake and also do not drive to far forward. It would probably be safer with some sort of 2x4 stop in the front.
I use this as well, seems to work just fine.

I get some stuff at HF but would never buy a jack from them, or most bigger ticket items, even if it is a Snap-On clone. Value generally isn't there on this stuff vs shopping around lesser known brands or just buying used. Recently they started excluding like half the stuff in the store from the 20% coupons, including floor jacks. Another gripe I have with them that maybe some of you aren't aware of is that the owner/CEO is a giant douche, whose dad gave him the company and then he refused to pay his dad the prearranged $1 or 2 million a year, saying he couldn't afford it, while at the same time buying $100 million paintings, yachts, etc.
Jacks though. My primary is a 3.5 ton NAPA made by Sunex. Been using for years, lifting on all sorts of out of level surfaces, it's awesome. Also have a transmission adapter for it which was much cheaper than buying a dedicated jack for that. Dual piston, long bar for leverage that splits in half if you need a shorter bar for jacking trans under the vehicle or whatever. They still make the same jack and even make rebuild kits for it, which I doubt you'll find for any HF tools. And it's still cheaper than that Daytona jack - https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NLE7916420
I also have a 1.5 ton Sears jack from the 70s or 80s, made in Japan that still works like a champ. (Edit; it's a 328 series, and shops are still selling seal kits for it also).
And a few creaky Chinese ones, Black Jack etc that come in handy if working on the far end of the driveway since they're so light. Check used in your area, if you find a Hein Werner for a decent price, buy it. I've got a couple bottle jacks from them that must be at least 50 years old and still work fine, got both for basically free. Would expect their used floor jacks would cost more though, if you can even find one.

Couple 3 ton craftsmans/parts store jacks and 3.5 ton HF low jack thats awesome.
Also have this cheapy tranny adapter, have used it many times. It doesnt go very low, so your project needs to be up high, only has one adjustment and is a little wobbly, but was only like $50. Highly recommend .I think I got it from northern tool.
With my duals on it.
