If every black man went out right now and bought an AR-15, they’d be banned by Friday.

I'll tell that to my black shooting buddies.

Get a rope and save the state a lot of money.
Agreed.
What you call a case study I call grasping at straws.
Everytime you get stumped you whip out the old "grasping at straws" line
That’s a new low for this thread. Racist and narrow minded.

Guns are not the problem. The problems are the ills of society and the mind.
Timothy McVeigh did not use a gun; he used what almost every hard-working American farmer uses to grow food for his family and others.

I wish every black man would get out and buy an AR-15. The more you threaten gun control the higher gun sales go.
Yet, after this bombing the US government started regulating the purchase of fertilizer....
"In the years since the bombing, scientists, security experts, and the ATF have called on Congress to develop legislation that would require customers to produce identification when purchasing ammonium nitrate fertilizer, and for sellers to maintain records of its sale. Critics argue that farmers lawfully use large quantities of the fertilizer,[194] and as of 2009, only Nevada and South Carolina require identification from purchasers.[194] In June 1995, Congress enacted legislation requiring chemical taggants to be incorporated into dynamite and other explosives so that a bomb could be traced to its manufacturer.[195] In 2008, Honeywell announced that it had developed a nitrogen-based fertilizer that would not detonate when mixed with fuel oil. The company got assistance from the Department of Homeland Security to develop the fertilizer (Sulf-N 26) for commercial use.[196] It uses ammonium sulfate to make the fertilizer less explosive.[197]
I think people who are so fanatical about guns are the ones with mental issues.
And in the last 23 years we have had 2 other major mass casualty building bombings (9/11, boston marathon). Yet we have mass casualty school/public shootings on an almost monthly basis. Ill take 3 in 23 years...
I mean I agree mental health is a huge part of this, butwhy can't itit should be a two pronged attack?
Just to clarify.
Any comments I made were only meant to make/stimulate conversation, not to attack anyone or their religions or social belief.
I feel terrible for anyone that's had to live through the killing of their child.
I could not even pretend to know what that's is like.
Start a thread on gun control, check , lose argument badly, check, "you guys are just mentally ill!"
You’d swear this was a tweet from @realDonaldTrump. Indistinguishable
