Flowmaster 40 or 50 series

Hey y'all, I was looking into upgrading my exhaust (for sound not performance) and am now trying to decide between the flowmaster 40 or 50 or something inbetween. I've noticed in a coupe of vids the 44 sounds a bit ricey and the 50 is a little quiet for my taste. My dad also drives my car so nothing too loud. Does anyone have the 50 HD it looks harder to fit but its right where I think I'd like the sound.

I have the 50 series suv muffler and it's great, has a nice tone to it without being to load and doesn't sound anything close to ricey.

V6 or V8? The Super 44 will NOT sound ricey with a V8.
