Flowmaster 40 series!?

What issues have you heard about the flowmasters and these?? Not trying to cause trouble, I am genuinely curious. I have had a 40 series for about a month now. Sounds great at idle and low RPM, sounds ok at higher RPMs. Can be a bit droney I guess. I think it all comes down to personal preference.

Please tell us these stories. I genuinely want to know.

I have nothing personal against the company, but i've heard more bad things than good. I've had 2 buddies that have had repetitive issues where they had a faulty product, and the customer service they received was next to none. There's also a few threads on this forum, if I remember correctly, that illustrate similar events happening. Again, I don't mean to bash the product, but I refuse to give my business to a company that provides such poor customer service, regardless of the reason. A good company doesn't sell a product; they sell customer service. Just my $.02.

My response was more of a joke, but thanks for giving a legit explanation on Flowmaster service. I was never a fan of the chambered design to begin with. A 40 series will be obnoxiously loud.

I'm considering getting the same. Which model did you get? I tried looking for it in amazon but wasn't sure the inlet/outlet diameter and length to get.

I've heard far to many whore stories about flowmaster. I will never buy one. Ever. Instead I would look more toward Invidia. There are a few members running their mufflers. I would go that route. It's a higher performance, and won't cause issues.

I've recently started looking at Borla Xr1 lately, anybody heard anything about them or run them. I've always thought of borla as a high quality brand
