This is exactly what i was looking for in a muffler. I bought my Flowmaster 50 Series SUV online (eBay cough cough) for a deal and took it over to Exhaust Pro (local shop) for installation. The bill came down to 70 bucks which is a little high, but they had to weld additional piping because the Flowmaster was shorter than the stock. I had watched some pitiful videos on youtube and researched on various sites (Flowmaster, Yota Tech, T4R, ect) and this is it. I wanted a deep, beefy, bold sound without the interior drone. I wanted a big sound outside with little inside noise much like muscle cars, classic cars, mustangs, motor cycles ect. The startup begins with a nice low rumble and comes to an idle almost as quiet as the stock. However the minute you give it gas you know it's there (and some may look around for a big Ford truck-haha). In any case it is not overwhelming one bit but just enough. I'm fortunate that I do not drive a diesel or v8 because some can have very loud and annoying interior drone sounds. If your confused i bought the Flowmaster 50 SUV Series Muffler. I did not spend 400 dollars + on a full exhaust kit and I even left the heat-shield, resonator, and the exhaust tip stock and were not touched. I bought the 2.50 Center Inset- 2.50 Offset Out. I stuck with the single in/ single out because I have heard that a single in' double out can take some series bending of metal to get around the spare tire. The mechanics did say that the 4Runner's include "hooks" or "hangers" that hang down from the body of the vehicle to support the weight of the muffler (this also increased the installment price). In any case it came down to about 200 dollars (original buy, shipping, and installment) and about 30mns to get it installed.

it turned out terribly because the camera picked up the Toyota's fan in the hood rather than the bold sound of the muffler. In any case I'll get back to you with additional better videos of interior and exterior sound.
