Fluid Change Guidance/Recommendations

I just purchased my first T4R. It's a 2000 Limited that just turned over 182,000 miles. I would like to do a transfer case and transmission service as well as adding a tranny cooler since it seems like that's a very popular mod and I'm going to be doing some towing. I'm open to any guidance/tips on doing the job as well as recommendations for fluid, etc.

Congrats on your first 4Runner!

3rd Gen section would be the best place to find answers to your questions, there is a ton of info there. Check out this link, a good place to get started and get lost reading for hours lol. Me personally, I changed all the fluids out just so I knew everything was fresh and had a new starting point. I run Amsoil synthetic wherever I can in my truck. There are many good oils out there, depends on your application.
