FML! Injector on Cylinder 5 is spewing fuel!!

CJ80Cruiser... I'm really looking for something new at this point...as an old one could surely crap out eventually as well. But thanks for the offer man! :)

The seller responded already:

I completely understand where you're coming from. I was just letting you know the WORST CASE SCENARIO - we've seen some crazy things in the shop... refunded, and customer returns old used cores. Refund sent - and customer returns a burnt/melted product etc. I have no problems with your request once the product arrives at our shop. Thanks for understanding my point of view as well.

And get that damn truck running already, huh?! :) Thanks again man."


Looks like he's refunding me my money..... but I still need to ship them out to him first.... Should I risk it???

alright. I'll hold my sigh of relief until you tell us the moneys back in the account, but hooray for decent people.

Yeah, that's a pretty good seller. Atleast it appears so at this point.

No problem, Rob. Offer still stands even if you need to just borrow it for a short time but understand that you only want to do this job one more time. I read that the O-rings should always be replaced when putting a used one back in and assume the o-ring can be easily changed out.
 
He seems to be pretty straight up. I'd send them back. You probably bought from him originally because he had good feedback (at least, I would hope so..), so you should feel reasonably confident in returning them. You're not really losing anything either way at this point.

As much as I like the idea of paying $60.00 for one injector..... I'm putting my self in the same position I'm in already, by buying from an E-bayer... :(

I'd rather deal with someone locally, this way, if he screws me....I can at least break his arms up to his ankles! ;) (kidding btw....)

The issue I'm having, is I can simply buy an 0-ring kit, and cut my losses. I'm fairly certain that his injector I do have in there, is ok.

If I send him his, I'm out another $30.00 in shipping, and then I have to hope that he will pay me back the full $220.00...... Decisions....decisions.....
