Great resource and seemingly great owners. I found the site by accident looking for a replacement window busted by a tweaker and have been hooked for the last week reading, oh and scored a few parts. Thanks alot for the resource and time put in by the mods and members.

Other than an old f40, this 4runner is my first. I actually bought it for my teenage daughter but liked it so much she got an s10 instead. It's a '95 2wd SR5 pushing 250,000 on the 6. The first issue was the MPG which sucked, a full tune up and cold air intake system got me 19mpg up from 14. Other than that I'm loven it.

Hello and welcome! I wasn't sure the 2nd Gen even came in 2WD--I've never seen one (that I know of, anyway). Those old FJ's are pretty sweet, too. Be sure to dig around in the "Classic T4Rs" section for tips on your specific model. Have fun!

Thanks Bob. When I saw it I was sure it was 4wd because it's so high, but I've been all over and sure it's just driving one axle. Actually on my list to do is have the ride height adjusted down in the front after new shocks.
