Focus Runner?

I was at the auto parts store today and saw this lifted focus pull up with an older guy driving. Look at it closer and it was toyota running gear. I talked to the guy for a quick minute and it was a 4runner frame that he modified slightly. It had a 4 link rear and IFS up front.
I found it picture worthy but only had my cell phone with me.

I searched around the internet and found this, kinda funny considering it was from the east coast and somehow ended up over here.

Did it end up back with the original owner then or what? I remember it being for sale..

You know, I ALMOST changed my mind and was going to go solid axles front and rear on my focus instead of the v8. Who knows, anything is (still) possible.

Love seeing that every time.
