Fog light bulb issue

For the life of me cant remove the fog light bulb, I can pull the tab in the bulb housing but cant remove the bulb...help please

Yes, i can turn the bulb counterclockwise to take it out of the shield, but i can take it out of the housing that attaches to the wires

Try pulling the plug out while the bulb is still in the housing.

there should be something to push down on the middle back end of the housing it releases the light. Just push it down while you pull the light out. Had to take out a fog light yesterday that stopped working.

I saw the tab and I tried that, its almost like the bulb is fused in place, wont budge. I might have to use two pairs of pliers and be gentle....hmmm

Is there anything I can spray where the bulb meets the socket to loosen it up that wont harm the electrical?

Just try and wiggle it out. Try and use some of that "elbow grease" it should eventually budge. :naughty:

Trust me I did, and used some 4 letter words too.

You can spray penetrating oil on the base of the bulb, just wipe it clean before you put it back together. Then put some dielectric grease on it once you put the new bulb in.
