Fog Light Mod (Problem)

I did the mod to my 2002 4runner today, it was very simple and I love it. I just ran a jumper from the fog light fuse to the tail fuse, then grounded the number 15 (I believe it was) pin. Well I just came to eat, as I locked my doors via keypad, all the normal lights flashed, but so did my fog lights. Well I have HIDs in them, and I'm pretty sure that is the fast track to a burnt up ballast or something. Anybody have any idea how I can get them to stop flashing, and make it normal? Anyone run into this problem? Thanks in advance guys.

It's because your fogs now get power from your tail lights. So when you have your fogs switched on, and your tail lights flash, your fogs follow suit.

Easy fix : Turn your fogs off when you get out.

Yep, it is supposed to work like that. If you dont want to leave the fog switch off, then try grabbing power from the SEAT HTR fuse rather than the TAIL fuse.
