fog light

ok dumb question both my fog lights just went out on me and i want to get aftermarket fog lights that will fit where the old ones went. has anyone gotten aftermarket ones or know where to get some. thanks

another dumb question, if both went out at the same time are you sure a connection didnt come loose. seams odd that both would go out at the same time

99 SR5 they went out at different times but they werent that bright so I want to get something brighter.

I believe you need the Hella micro DE fog lights. They offer a kit that replaces the stock ones.

Yep, Hella DE's are the best way to go if you just want something to replace the stock fogs.

My fogs went out a few months ago and it turns out that it was simply one of the bulbs out. My housings were too corroded and rusted to replace the bulbs so i bought an aftermarket set and made a bracket to fit them. I would consider replacing the bulbs with maybe some piaa bulbs instead of changing the entire housing if you can. But if you want to go all out go with the Hella DE and make sure you get the 4runner specific.

alright i will look into that thanks. I tryed to get the bulbs out of the housings and they were all rusty and i striped out the screws so i said screw this im gettin new ones. thanks again

when u got your HID kit Andrew I did u have to get new headlamp lenses.
