Fog lights already broke?

Hey guys so I posted a thread a few days back with my new fog lights and they already broke so I was wondering of I should buy better bulbs or just buy better lights altogether

Did the actual light physicaly brake? Or are they just not turning on? Mine didnt turn on one day and i checked the ground wire and it was loose. Check that if anything first.

The bulb burnt out then when I replaced the fuse under the hood the fuse for the lights burnt out. I was just wondering if u guys thought I shud just buy new lights or replace the bulbs. But the lights aren't that great so I was leaning towards just buying new lights. Just would like to hear your input. Thanks

If you don't know already, you are not supposed to touch the light bulb by bear hands when you install it. It'll make the bulb to burn out quick.

That was the first thing I checked cuz I thought it might have come loose after going over a bump or something. But it was fine. I also tested the fuse from the lights and the bulb and neither of them worked.

How do you have them grounded? Was it a plug and play kit or did you have to hard wire any of it?

I had to hard wire it. I ran it behind the grille and grounded it to a bolt above the engine cooler. And I had it wired with my running lights

By engine cooler I assume you mean radiator. Is that right? Did you take the paint off of the area you grounded it to? If not, it's not grounded and that's why you're blowing fuses.

i think they were 30 bucks, im not sure they were a xmas present.

Kinda sounds like a wiring issue to me. Have you retraced your wiring to see if anything has shorted out?

I would be more concerned about the fuse blowing than your lights being out...

a switch came with it but i just ran it to the running lights

Nah its only the fog light fuse thats out. All my other lights are fine

Yeah its the fuse and the bulb i'm positive. I just want to know what you guys think i should get. New bulbs or new lights
