Fog lights help

I have a 00' SR5 4runner and it has the little pre-wired spots for fog lights to go in. I am thinking about getting the Hella micro DE's thanks to this board :] One thing I noticed is when looking at burtmanindustries webpage, his pictures of the fog lights look really big, and don't look like mine at all.
His look to be much bigger than the Hella's that go in those tiny little holes. Can anybody clarify if they are the same size on all 3rd gen. 4runners? Also, I just got my 4runner about 3 weeks ago and I had no idea what kind of brushguard is on it, and I was wondering if any of you could help me?
I have looked for a name on it, but can't seem to find one anywhere. I have attached the other pictures in replies, because I couldn't figure out how to do them all in one post. Thanks for anyone's help!

well, you see now, jason has the pp front spoiler on his. this comes with the cut-outs for the 3" hella's. his year initially came with the square hellas mounted on the outer edges of the license plate. yours are the smaller round ones that pp offers for our year. so, you can't really compare jason's fogs to yours. different year, different spoiler. and about the brush guard, i have no idea.

I do have one for your 2000 that are made to fit in your smaller holes. Feel free to send me a PM or email me and I can go into more detail. These lights are come with a wireless remote as an added feature.

I have no idea what make the brushguard is but by looking at the picture it looks as if it is to big for the 4Runner, not sure, maybe just the angle of the picture. It just does not look right from what I can see

yea, thats definitely not the right brushguard for your runner.

as far as fogs go, id say if youre gonna keep your brushguard on, then install some fogs on it.

if you want to put some fogs in the factory location, talk to jason. i know PP sells a kit to install the fogs in the factory location, but its VERY EXPENSIVE.

check out my website to see how a brushguard thats made for a 4runner is supposed to fit.

Are you suggesting that the brushguard was maybe made for another car and then slapped on my runner? How hard is it to put on a different brushguard and do you think it is worth it to buy another one?

I agree with Lee. It just looks too wide, and the headlight areas should be more "curved" to the body.

yes, im saying its not right for your runner. someone slapped another kind on, or its a cheap brand.

getting a new one is quite easy and installing it is pretty easy as well.

Thanks for the help Lee,
Your westin looks great. I was looking at WAAG, anybody heard anything good/bad about WAAG? Any other suggestions greatly appreciated.

Well, another option is Jaos brand. I sell these on my site, but the prices may be more than you want to spend. These are imported from Japan and are as nice as a Rolex. The diamter of the bars/tubing is 30% larger than the others, and they are much lighter on your front end. Just another option.
