Fog lights question

I plan to do a fog light project. Not sure if it'll be good or not, but it's worth a try. I plan to relocate my signal lights, which is on the bumper, and put it on my corner lights. And then put fog lights to my bumper signal lens. I'm not sure if it would be bright enough. Either buy another wire harness and rewire my headlights and the lights. Or just buy another fog light and retrofit it in that bumper lens place. Just my idea =)

Sounds like a good idea, but I don't think it'll be bright enough due to the lense. I have a 4th gen, and even on my truck I don't think the stock fog lights are bright enough. IMO, I rather get a set of PIAA 5"-6" round fog lights and mount them on my guard.

If you don't like those type of fogs, I would get a set of HID fogs with the projector lenses (PIAA and hella has these), and mount them somewhere on the bumper.

Good luck on your preject, I'd like to see the end results!

i got the idea from the '01 - '02 4Runner. which it has a small fog light with signal lights on the same bumper area. just wanted to do something new. i'll see if i could find something bright enough so the fog light could go through my bumper lens.

i don't mind having a 5"-6" PIAA. it's just too big. but then again, there's really no reason why i should get fog lights when i live near the city. HAHA. i just like the way it looks.

Have you seen the bumper on performance products? It has built in fogs that are very bright...I had it on my '97 runner. I looked for the link but I don't see it...it is in my most recent catalog though.
