Fog Lights?

i wanna get fog lights for my 2002 4runner. they didnt come with the oem fog so i looked them up, and for $200 a pop, i dont wanna buy them. anyways does anyone know of any aftermarket ones that have the blue color to it, or just clear ones? thanks

Anything other than a more yellow (warmer) light does not constitute a true fog light. If you're looking for something to look "cool" (but won't do squat in bad. dark weather) then have at it.

The Toyota supplied Hella Micro DE's that I installed in my 3rd gen are excellent in dark, rainy and/or foggy conditions after I replaced the standard H3 halogen bulbs with Hella Yellowstars.

the hella micro DE'S are awsome. $150 for kit here is link or you can also try ebay. but i went through here and had good luck

also bulbs are h3's and bright but you can change them to blue or what ever you want. its a common fog light bulb. simple install aswell.

One of my assemblies is broken and I need a new one (changing the bulb didn't fix the light problem) It it worth getting another OEM replacement for it or should I pick these up for the same price as getting one OEM?

If you mean the Hella Micro DE lamp housing, you should be able to pick up ANY Micro DE kit for any car. The housings are the same. The only difference in the kits are the mounting brackets. I might have an extra in my garage but due to being relocated not too long ago, I'd be hard-pressed to figure out what box they're in. I'll let you know if I have one , IF that's what you need.

My housing cover bolts are frozen so I can't change the bulbs. Before I tackle drilling the bolts out, I did some research just in case the effort went to cr^p. Waiting for a day above 15 degrees to work on the truck.

As for blue color, I agree with Nuke. Waste of money IMO.
