Fog Lights

I need fog lights but don't know what kind to get. I want to get something that is going to be functional but also something that matches the front of the truck - sort of a simple, clean, clear look. I've been done some searching with not a lot of luck. Can anyone throw up some photos or give me some advice? I'm really looking for a simple bolt on application because I'm not a master with the bondo. My runner is the white one on the right. Thanks for your help.

My 4Runner doesn't have fog lights...but it has the holes for them. Mine was a base model so it is just covered up with plastic. What would be involved in putting fog lights on my 4Runner? I guess i would have to install a switch, etc? Where would I run them?
 
I just installed some Hella ff50's that I had lying around over the past weekend. I was gunna do a write-up thread for them but I was like "Oh who the hell is gunna care how I did this." Haha Anyway, I mounted them floating in front of the grill. I'll get some pics up in the next few days and you can see if you like it. :thumb3:

And as far as the Hella Micro DEs go, I have a 97 which doesn't come with a stock place to mount them, but thanks for the links anyway, zcruiser.
 
from doing a little searching, it seems the Hella Micro DE's is the way to go. My only concern would be the corrosion. My T4R is an 01 and I've had it since it was born....Just now getting around to doing this and maybe some weathertech digitalfit mats....

Is $154 for the lights pretty much the best deal??

Can't decide if either is worth it though.....
 
So my 3rd gen 4runner has the holes on the bumper for the hella micro fog lights, is it already prewired though? Also, will the hella micro de's stay on whenever the headlights are on?
 
Sorry about the delay, today was my day off and I totally spaced taking pictures of my setup for this thread. Basically all I did was use Simpson Strong-ties to fabricate a light mount. I used one 4" 90 degree angle, one 6" straight section and another 12" section. The angled piece is bolte to my radiator support and the 6" section to that. This brings the mount through the grille where the 12" section is mounted horizontally. The lights are then bolted to this horizontal section. Hopefully that makes sense and I'll try to get some pictures up.
 
I just put a set of hella ff75 in my stock blinker locations. I moved the blinkers into the side marker lights.

Alright, sorry for the delay but here's my current setup. Again it's just Simpson strong-ties that hold everything together. Very strong and durable. Best of all, with two more ties I can add more lights to the front relatively easily. Enjoy!

This picture above show the wiring. I spliced in a two pin trailer connector so the wiring can be unplugged if I ever need to remove the lights off the front. The front horizontal tie can be unbolted and the wiring unplugged tehn the whole assembly simply lifts off without the need to uninstall the entire mounting setup. This way the lights also stay properly aimed.
