foglights without headlight question

bear with me as i am still a newbie with alot of questions.
i didn't notice if you can just have the fogs & parking lights on without the headlights on.
waiting to pick up my 09 sport next week and forgot to check if this can be done.

It can be done with a very minor DIY mod. It doesn't come that way.

Make sure you get the auto door locks programmed to your tastes as part of delivery.

2) Do you want the locks to auto-lock? Yes or no. When you put it in gear or at 8mph? Do you want the doors to unlock in P or ignition off? When you hit the Fob do you want all the doors to unlock on the 1st push or second push? The reason I say this is there's a DIY procedure listed in the manual but it doesn't work easily or the 1st time. In fact it can be very frustrating and the dealer can do it quickly and easily. This thread is a good read and discusses further customization. If you get it handled as part of the delivery there's no ugliness. If you wait until after the fact they may try to charge you. It depends on the dealership but more than one person has paid for settings.

Thanks for the heads up on the door locks. We just bought our 03 and the locks bug. Ill prolly have the dealer redo them to lock at 8mph and one tap to unlock all.

Keep in mind however, that the key fob one-push-to-unlock-all only works with the factory alarm, not just the keyless entry unit. I've tried the mod with my keyless entry only unit and it will not unlock all the doors with one push on the fob. Unfortunate for me, as I was hoping the mod would work.
