Foglights?

I just recently purchased an 2000 Runner SR5, it didn't come with any fog lights, so I was thinking about purchasing some OEM fogs. Are they any good sites that have the fogs for sale?

And also, I must not have looked hard enough in the threads, but I couldn't seem to find any about 3rd gens and the fog light hook up. Is it a simple plug and play or is there some wiring that you need to do?

Any help is appreciated!

Another Option

Rather than go with a retrofit, consider some aftermarket lights in the lower grill. The location is to each side of the license plate holder.

A simple set of 55w halogen lights, wire, switch is ~$40.

I installed a set below the rear bumper for launching/retrieving my boat at night. My bumper had the holes already there.

The set I have look like this with a clear lens. Got them at NAPA or any auto supply store.

The wires can go into the truck using an unused grommet in the floor (pull the lower trim and carpet) and along the side up to the dash. Mount the switch on the lower left side of the dash (near the dimming knob) in an empty slot. The power runs from the switch through the firewall (with the other wires) and up to the battery.

It took me an hour to do the wiring. Very straight forward.

A member did this mod for the front and posted photos. Do a search on this forum. While he cut the middle latteral plastic piece, you can mount the lights w/o cutting if you can get some flat stock and bend it to form an long U. Drill into the metal support on the top or bottom. Feel around the top of the grill and you will find it.

Just one idea.
