Hey all
So I installed my eibach/LC lift a few weeks ago and i want to give people some advice. I hear about all these people putting exreme stress on their ball joints to get the front coil overs in and also leaving control arm bushing torqued at stock angles. Which will cause premature bushing failure.
First off once you take out the old coil over you should always loosen up top and bottom control arms. For one it made it so easy to install the new extended coil overs. They litterally just slide right in. As well as making it easy for installing, it relaxes control arm bushings. Once you have the coil overs installed lower the truck onto the ground and then re torque the control arm bolts. This will keep the bushings at their new angle. Imsteaded of being bound up at the stock suspension geometry. Also you should definantely stretch your cv boots after the lift to help prevent leakage.
In hind sight if i could do it again......id say eff it grab a straight axle and a torch and get to work. Fuuuuuck all of this IFS bulll iisshhh
