For anyone waiting on a 17

No updates from my dealership here in NY. My salesman called me last week to tell me that my truck will be here in the middle of December, but when asked for a VIN he couldn't get it for me. So basically that means no truck and a whole bunch of lies
I work at a dealership and apparently Toyota starts production on these December 1st. I've got a Limited on order and my inventory manager said she'll try to make it "hot". Apparently if your dealer has a good relationship with their rep they can try to make it more of a priority and move it up in the production queue. Best case scenario should be late December. I'll try to update thread with any info I get.

Not sure if anyone is interested. But there are 2- 2016 Trail Premiums and a regular Trail 1-Limited and 1-SR5 on a lot here in Fort Wayne Indiana. 2 hours north of Indianapolis. Evans Toyota. If you dont want to wait for the 2017

There are no shortage of 2016 4runners on the lots around Houston. More SR5's and Limiteds than I could count, at least 10 TEP's, mostly silver with a nautical blue and a black that I know of, and a couple TE's floating around too. Nothing with KDSS.
Unfortunately, we are in the market for a TEP, and it must be a TEP, and it must be magnetic grey. So we are having a tough time. Hopefully next week.

There's a TEP magnetic gray at Cavendar Toyota here in San Antonio... just 3.5 hours from H-Town.

I reached out to my salesman this morning about the '17 Pro I asked him to order for me back in mid October. He told me he is getting the first two Pros allocated to his dealership (one being mine) and they should show up in the incoming inventory in about 2 weeks. He still expects mine to arrive in January.
I'm still a little surprised that Toyota has not updated their crappy site to show the '17 4Runner. I figured by December 1st they would have done so if '17s are going to start delivering in January.

I'm pretty sure it's not missing the interior. The website doesn't have photos of the interior... maybe that's what was meant???

I ordered mine a couple months ago, they insisted on 1000 down. I spoke with him a couple weeks ago and he still has heard nothing. The guy I am dealing with is some kind of special salesman (I forget exactly what he told me), all he could say for sure is I would have one of the first ones. He did say once they start taking orders he would call me to review what options I want (which I find strange because it really comes with nothing the dealer cannot do). If anyone is curious on the price, I was quoted MSRP

I didn't have to put down a deposit, but I have a relationship with the salesman from a prior purchase. I told him I didn't want anything added to base truck and I wanted white. He said that wouldn't be a problem. We haven't spoken about price yet, but I know his dealership doesn't do ADMs because I asked. I figured since I have a trade it really does no good getting to worried about price just yet. If I can't get a deal I feel is fair I will just walk.
Just got the word from my inventory manager that my Limited is being produced December 5th! One of only 188 Limiteds for the Midwest region for the month of December.
On a side note, we're trying to allocate a TRD Pro Tundra. If that doesn't go through she'll try for a 4Runner in Cement. I'll keep you guys posted!

They had a Super White 2017 TRD Pro at the LA Auto Show a few weeks ago. Same old, same old. It could have been a 2016 for all I know.
