For Sale - '99 SR5 4x4 - $10,500

I am selling my 99 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4x4, which had been my daily freeway driver, until I got a new car a few days ago.

If you're looking specifically for a 4Runner 4 x 4; and you're on this forum - you already know that '99 was a unique year - and very desirable.

Condition: This truck is bone stock, except for the tires, which are Firestone Destinations. It was factory-equipped with factory leather(ette?) seats and door panels, upgraded stereo and 'convenience package' i.e. sunroof, electric windows & etc.) Clean CarFax - no accidents. California car - no rust. The metal is 99.5% perfect. Paint (black) is very good. All systems work (A/C etc) as they should. Recent maintenance includes brakes, shocks and transfer-case / output shaft seals.

Mileage is about 160k - i.e. it's just about broken in.

I think it's funny how 3rd gen are devalued on some threads while 1st gen Runner values tend to be a bit inflated.

Realistically a '99 3rd gen can still fetch over $7000 with similar miles and region can make a big diff also.

$10k is a bit high but asking $7-8k isn't unrealistic and being patient is a plus.

This Runner with up to date maintenance like the listed brakes and shocks are a plus to the asking price.

Let me ask a few questions that might help with the sale and the more details the better.

How many miles on the tires?

5 speed? Auto?

Rear diff lock?

Timing belt replaced?

Remember also the members and potential buyers on this forum tend to be specific and will be a bit more harsh on asking prices but we've seen what similar Runners sell for on here on a regular basis.
