For those running OEM LC rear shocks...

I'm having an issue with the bushings squeaking. Not a huge deal, but incredibly annoying. I put some grease on them and that made them stop squeaking, but probably not for long. Anyone else have this issue? I imagine I could switch to poly eurothane bushings, but seeing if any of you guys have another remedy?

I'm running them with 8 wraps. No squeaking here. Using the standard rubber bushings that came with them and no lube of any sort.

Maybe they just need to be tightened up a bit on the stud?

Yeah, that was my initial thought, but they are tight as can be.

Poly bushings will squeak. You have to keep them greased all the time.

You might have torqued the nut down too much which is causing the bushing to be over compressed. The torque spec is only 20 ft lbs.
