For those using the Metra 70-8117 stereo harness

This may be the biggest nOOb question of all time but...

I don't understand where the two plugs of the Metra 70-8117 harness go.

I have an aftermarket HU and separate amp coming and will be removing the factory JBL Synthesis/RDS HU and amp entirely.

Could someone please be so kind as to enlighten me as to where the two ends of the Metra plug in. Thank you!

are you running new wires to each doors? so are you ripping out the whole jbl system and replacing with the new radio and new amp?
if thats the case all you need is to hook up the power(acc and ignition) and ground and power antenna wire.

I put in all new speakers already, utilizing factory wiring. I plan on keeping speaker wire in place, not running new wires to all the doors.

I should add that yes, I'm removing the JBL HU and amp and sub and replacing all. Hence, where does the Metra fit into the setup?
