I am of the opinion a SC adds $500 if done correctly. If not then it's a devaluation

That is a low ball number for the SC. Everyone knows the extras do not add dollar-for-dollar value; but they do a decent percentage. I figured the SC added $1,000 to the base value of the vehicle. Especially since the one I bought has the black SC and not the earlier SC model that are harder to maintain.

I wouldn't go so far as to call it a lowball number. You can add or subtract $500 within other parts of the vehicle pretty quick.
