Found a 4th Gen Bug Shield/Hood Deflector that looks nice!

AND IT WORKS!

I have been looking for this for a long time. I love the look of the Canadian Toyota Bug Shield but they cannot be gotten in the USA without extraordinary efforts and cost. The USA Toyota Bug Shield looks like crap and does not work worth a dam. All of the aftermarket ones I had found were the same as the USA Toyota one. That has all changed now! I found the one below, it looks like the Canadian one, very nice, and it works. Best of all it is less than $90!

The shop I bought it from was great, contact them to order yours! What do you think? I think it is a hit!

Looks good, though I like the look of the canadian version better. I don't like how it cuts off where the canadian one extends all the way.

Interesting, I thought it was 95% the same as the Canadian one. Someone should post a pic of the canadaian one here for comparison. Last time I looked at importing one from Canada it would have cost about $240............the Canadian one is not worth an extra $120!

How does it work better??

Just curious, because it seems to sit identically as every other aftermarket hood deflector I've seen. Except for the 2 plastic bist that cover a bit more of the hood, it looks the same, and it costs a LOT more than a LUND deflector ($65).

What does the bracket system look like? How are the outside mounts connected to the hood? The ones on mine used a rubber locking grommet, which eventually break when the wind starts vibrating the deflector. Except for the rubber grommet, I am pleased with mine. (And I replaced the grommet with a nice aluminum locking nut system that hasn't moved since.)

Toolman, it looks like none of the aftermarket ones I have seen, they all were just like the stock USA one. Also, I said it was under $80, I do not remember the exact price. This is made for Lund by a company in Australia, EGR I think it is. Ask Ron, he will know.
