i was debating ddm or not, bought these to try.

they work. DRL is dim, with some flicker. High beam is bright! half the price of ddm. and easy amazon returns

These appear to be about the same as a hikari brand that is on amazon as well.
Will update on how long these last till they die.

I'm glad you found something that works for you, but this flicker is exactly what every other LED in this position will do (run at full HB brightness with flicker). So far, there's nothing on the market that truly works how an incandescent bulb would in that DRL / HB spot.

I'd be willing to bet just by the name and price that those are pretty cheap Chinese LEDs I'd be curious to know how long they hold up. My bet is that their price matches their quality.

this RUNS DIM.. with a slight flicker in DRL mode. and BRIGHT in high beam.

most leds.. are full brightness in DRL mode? at least that's what all the theads say?

Which other leds asides from the ddm saber will run DIM in drl mode? Please link

Please do share the Morimoto part # that runs dim in DRL without flicker..

They still flicker a little bit, only noticeable when parked a couple feet away from a wall. Like many have said before, I am pretty sure all LED function this way when used as DRL/Bright combo unless you use canbus. But then your DRL are in full bright mode, which I didn't want to do.
