Found random wire not hooked up

Hey guys while changing a burned out front turn signal light I found this wire hanging out not connected to anything, near the front of the battery and headlight. Wondering if anyone might be able to look under their hood or know what it should be for, maybe it's an option that I just don't have. It's Gray with a Black strip and it's not aftermarket as it ties into the factory harness. Looked at the electrical drawings and if the colors match up it ties into the ECM FC point 10 (E) page 7 and comes from page 6. If I'm reading it correctly it goes to a relay which is tied into the ignition.

If you can post a pic of where it peeks out of the OEM harness it may help us trace it.

Problem solved.....went to get another picture and figured it out. It plugs into the hood switch, I must have pulled it of while squeezing my hand between the battery and that tight corner. hahahah

aftermarket hood pin switch.

test your hood pin switch for working order. great for preventing the truck from remote start on accident.

i bought a few new ones just to keep around, only 12 bucks for 5 new switches.
